             Presidents Note

    The first tournament is under our belts. We joined two other Bass clubs on Green Peter reservoir, Mid-valley and Cascade for a great day of fishing. The weather was great and the fishing wasn't all that bad either. Only one person in our club had a limit, but almost everybody had fish. Our next club tournament is at Fern Ridge Reservoir. It should be exciting as it will be fresh water for most of the club. I hear they got big fish!!!!

   The BASS of Oregon held it's first open of the year at Tenmile and some VERY impressive weights were brought to the scales,42.99lbs. for 2-days.

    Don't forget you need to pay dues if you haven't yet. I know there are still a few of you lingering. $57.00 plus $10.00 for the 6lb pot. Don't forget the Green Peter open is on April 17th.

Tournament #1 is already in the books and much like last year, Green Peter didn’t “turn to the left and cough” up many fish. Kudos to those that brought them in under tough conditions.
